Our patinated knife magnets are made of solid brass plate (1mm).
We make a robust artisanal product that ages beautifully. Brass is inherently golden, the patina we apply gives the magnet a bronze colour. The patinated finish creates a living effect that keeps changing.
Brass is an excellent material for knife magnets. This is because it is antibacterial and extremely durable.
